TogetherPlay is a beta party game. We keep it simple:
- No accounts and no sign-up.
- Game answers travel directly between the host screen and players' phones. We don't store them on a server, and they disappear when the host closes the game.
- Your phone remembers the name you typed so you can rejoin quickly. You can clear it by clearing your browser data.
- We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.
- To see how TogetherPlay is used, we count simple anonymous events, such as "a game was started with 6 players" or "someone tapped Share". Each browser gets a random number so we can tell if a host comes back; it isn't linked to your name, answers or email.
- If you sign up for news, we keep your email address only to tell you about new games. Every email has an unsubscribe link, or reply to it to be removed.
- Games should be hosted by an adult. Children can play with their family.
Connections between devices are set up through the PeerJS connection service.
