The icebreaker nobody dreads
Put TogetherPlay on the meeting-room screen or share it on Zoom. Everyone scans a QR code and plays on their own phone. Ten minutes, and your team knows each other better than a year of stand-ups.
No app · no sign-up · work-safe mode · 2 to 20 per screen
How it works
- Open togetherplay.app on any screen. Meeting-room TV, laptop, or a Zoom or Teams screen share.
- Everyone scans the QR code. They join in their phone's browser in seconds.
- Pick a game and a level. Warm-up for new teams, Real talk once people know each other.
Games teams start with
- Common Ground (8 min): everyone answers the same quick question. Match answers to score and find out what you share.
- Who Said It? (12 min): anonymous answers, then play detective. The quiet ones always surprise you.
- Read the Room (8 min): predict what most of the team picked. Great for new teams.
- Two Truths and a Lie (12 min): one person's fun facts and one lie. Can the team spot it?
- Wolf in the Village (40 min): secret roles and bluffing, for the end-of-year party.
- Murder Mystery Night (45 min): everyone gets a character, clues drop each round, name the culprit together.
Built for work
- Work-safe mode: questions stay appropriate for colleagues.
- Nobody is put on the spot: answers can be anonymous, and no one has to stand up and present.
- Works in the room or on Zoom: remote people join on their own phone.
- Nothing to install, nothing to sign up for: no IT request and no accounts.
- Four languages: English, 中文, Español and Français.
Suggested running order: new team kick-off (about 30 minutes)
Common Ground (Warm-up), then Two Truths and a Lie (Warm-up), then Do You Know Me? Planning the end-of-year party instead? See the Christmas party running order.
